Windycityblues is a famous artist on Animal Jam. He quit for a while, but returned in February 2018 only to become inactive again. He is known for skillfully recreating famous works of art, such as the Mona Lisa. Many of his pieces can be found in the Masterpiece Gallery Party and in collectors' dens. He paints with a mouse, and stated that the secret to his art is patience. His art is highly valued, often going for black longs. Many of his pieces are not on this page, but they are highly valued as well.

The quality of AJ art increased dramatically after AJHQ created a "save" function on the easel. Before that, paintings had to be finished in one sitting. Starry Night was Windy's second painting using the "save" feature (after the Scream). It took about a month.
The picture above shows the improved version of Starry Night. The original is a little sloppy, but it got quite a bit of attention after Wisteria posted it in her den, and it still regularly shows up in the AJ Masterpiece Gallery.
This piece is popular with Jammers. It is ultra rare because predates the AJ art formatting change and can no longer be copied. Worth 2-3 black longs, or more.
